About the Role
The R&D Sales Engineer for the Abroad Department acts as the link between the company’s product development team and international clients. This role focuses on understanding foreign market requirements, supporting customized technical solutions, and promoting R&D-driven innovations to global customers. The engineer ensures alignment between technical capabilities and market demands, contributing to product improvement and international business growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in overseas through R&D-backed solutions.
- Present and demonstrate complex technical products and innovations to potential international clients.
- Collaborate with sales representatives or distributors abroad to promote new technologies and customized products.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents tailored to customer requirements.
- Collect and analyze overseas customer feedback and technical requirements.
- Translate market and customer needs into product specifications and communicate them to the R&D department.
- Coordinate with R&D teams to develop prototypes, samples, or pilot projects for international customers.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to international clients and partners.
- Work closely with the R&D team to contribute market insights that drive innovation and product improvement.
- Monitor global technological trends, competitor products, and industry advancements.
- Attend international trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to promote new technologies.
- Build long-term relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Prepare regular reports on R&D sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Assist in R&D developments for company’s departments and Assist in Odoo system development.
Requirements
- Experience in International Sales and R&D-driven technical solutions for global markets.
- Exceptional Communication Skills with professional proficiency in English to handle overseas clients and partners.
- Analytical & Technical Skills in translating market needs into specifications, with knowledge of system development (e.g., Odoo).
