About the Role
Responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning advanced industrial automation systems, while leading on-site execution and technical teams. The Senior Automation Engineer handles complex technical challenges related to PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, ensures high-quality engineering standards, and coordinates closely with project managers and clients to deliver complete, "end-to-end" automation solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Site Commissioning: Supervise and execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of turnkey automation projects and production lines, both locally and internationally.
- Team Support & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to junior and pre-senior automation engineers during project execution.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to define technical requirements, conduct technical presentations, and provide professional engineering advice.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with the Sales team to review technical proposals and with Procurement to verify correct technical specifications of components.
- Project Documentation: Prepare and review detailed technical documentation, including logic descriptions, user manuals, and final handover reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in industrial automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
- Extensive hands-on experience in industrial automation, programming (Siemens, Delta, or similar brands), and troubleshooting.
- Strong expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, Servo Drives, and industrial networking.
- Proven track record of managing and commissioning complex on-site industrial projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
