About the Role
Responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and tailored automation solutions to clients. The Senior Sales Engineer will identify business opportunities, conduct technical presentations, and manage the full sales cycle for automation products and turnkey projects. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial electronics and the ability to build trust with technical decision-makers while achieving demanding sales targets.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial automation sector, focusing on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and Drive systems.
- Conduct high-level technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase how our solutions meet specific client needs.
- Provide expert technical consultation to clients, assisting them in selecting the right components and systems for their production lines.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial offers, ensuring all specifications align with the client’s requirements and company standards.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and expand the company’s project portfolio.
- Lead negotiations on technical and commercial terms to close deals effectively while maintaining healthy profit margins.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution and commissioning.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the automation field.
- Mentor junior sales engineers and provide guidance on technical sales strategies and client management.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in technical sales within the industrial automation or power electronics industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, and industrial communication protocols.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Professional proficiency in English and Arabic, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
