Scope of Work
Project Overview
The Tobacco Packing Machine Automation Project for PackNovate in Jordan involved the design, programming, and commissioning of a fully automated packing system dedicated to high-speed tobacco production lines. The project aimed to enhance production efficiency, improve packaging accuracy, and ensure reliable continuous operation within demanding industrial environments.
The scope of work included PLC and HMI programming, servo motion integration, electrical control panel design and assembly, field instrumentation integration, and machine commissioning. Advanced automation functions were implemented to synchronize conveyors, feeding systems, sealing units, and packaging mechanisms while maintaining precise speed and positioning control.
The system was engineered to minimize downtime, optimize machine performance, and improve operational safety through integrated alarms, diagnostics, and safety interlocks. The project successfully delivered a stable and efficient automation solution that increased production reliability, reduced manual intervention, and supported PackNovate’s manufacturing and packaging requirements in the tobacco industry.
